Giving Tuesday is about ordinary people coming together to do extraordinary things. You can make this a magical holiday season for families in need who have a child with a developmental disability. For these families, holiday dinner and gifts for their kids can be an impossible dream. That’s where The Arc’s Adopt a Family program steps in. For 10 years, generous community members have helped us give hard-working families a little extra holiday cheer by providing toys, clothes and grocery gift cards – all selected to guarantee a festive season.
Ways to contribute!
- Host a gift drive at your office, in your neighborhood or with family/friends
- Bring an unwrapped gift to our main office in Towson (7215 York Rd., 21212) by 12/12
- Suggested gifts: socks, slippers, gloves/mittens/scarves, gift cards, bath & body items ( gift sets, bath bombs, scented lotions), nail polish, art supplies for all ages, sketch pads, journals and lockable diaries, kids toys, and books, etc.
- Give a monetary donation to purchase grocery store gift cards
