Led by Director John Sanford along with Assistant Director Mark Wisniewski, the Facilities team at The Arc underpins every department and maintains over 100 properties - all Community Living homes and our four administrative, employment and day locations. They respond late at night when a house’s power goes out, fix leaky faucets, and then repair everything in between. Last year alone, the Facilities team responded to 1700 maintenance requests and managed over $1M in capital projects!
John said the favorite part of his job is when he and his team can make a person who we support smile by addressing a problem at their home. “It makes all the hard work worth it.”
