Many area companies employ people with developmental disabilities who become indispensable members of their workforce. The Arc staff works with prospective employers to find the right job candidate to meet their needs. Though the individual is on the company's payroll and receives company benefits once hired, a job trainer from The Arc trains the new employee until they meet all job requirements. The job trainer then stays connected to the employer and employee, perhaps on a weekly basis or as more training is necessary.

Because each company's personnel needs are different, our employment counselors work with you to determine your specific job requirements and we then tailor our services to fulfill those expectations. We provide on-site training and supervision at no additional cost to you.
