Steve and William, along with staff representatives from The Arc, hosted some special guests at their home. The gentlemen welcomed Delegate Cathi Forbes and her Chief of Staff Susan Parts, and Senator Mary Washington’s Chief of Staff Melanie Wellstein to present their new open plan kitchen and living room as well as their fully accessible bathroom.

When he first saw the updates to his home, Steve said, “They did a great job on the bathroom and kitchen. The walk-in shower is much easier to use.”

Delegate Forbes and Senator West co-sponsored a bill to secure legislative bond funding for these necessary home upgrades as well as the installation of accessible bathroom door wall plates at our main office in Towson.
