Big moves were made at The Arc Baltimore’s first-ever ChangeMaker Summit! This self-advocate bootcamp brought together over 60 supported people and 30+ staff members for an incredible day of learning, growth, and empowerment.
The day was packed with insight, kicking off with an amazing guest speaker panel hosted by Advocacy Specialist Dominique Palmer. Attendees dove deep into crucial topics like Knowing Your Rights, navigating advocacy in the home, exploring assistive technology, and mapping out paths to success with Empowered to Employment. To wrap up the event, a powerful peer panel featuring advocates Randy Walker Jr., Jamie Freeman, and Arthur Machesney took the stage to share their real-world experiences and inspiring advice.
