Make a meaningful impact in the lives of people with intellectual and developmental disabilities by volunteering your time and talents with The Arc Baltimore. Whether you’re an individual, part of a service group, or a company team, there are several ways you can get involved throughout the year.
Customized Opportunities
Want to host a bingo night, dance party, karaoke session, or ice cream social at one of our day program locations? For groups smaller than 10, we’d love to coordinate a custom volunteer experience with you.

Spring Spruce Up
WHEN: Late May
Join us as we revitalize the yards of several homes where people we support live. Tasks include weeding, planting fresh greenery, and transforming outdoor spaces into beautiful, welcoming environments.
We welcome:
- Individual volunteers
- Small companies and service groups
Bonus Opportunity: Donations of landscaping supplies or outdoor furniture are also appreciated to enhance the transformation!

Ready, Set, Interview!
WHEN: October
Help prepare job seekers with developmental disabilities for employment by participating in a day of mock interviews. You’ll provide feedback and insights about your industry while helping someone build their confidence.

Adopt-a-Family
WHEN: December
Each year, The Arc Baltimore’s Adopt A Family Drive pairs generous donors with families raising a child with a developmental disability to help make the holidays brighter.
