If you receive services through the Developmental Disabilities Administration (DDA), respite supports may be included in your funding plan.
If respite is not currently part of your plan, your Coordinator of Community Services (CCS) can submit a Request for Service Change to DDA to add it. The number of hours and types of respite available are based on the individual needs of you and your family.
Because DDA funding follows federal waiver guidelines, there may be restrictions on who can be paid to provide respite services. For details specific to your situation, talk with your CCS to learn more about DDA-funded respite options.
