Assistive Technology (AT) Program

Our Vision:

The Arc Baltimore’s Assistive Technology Program is dedicated to enhancing the lives of people with disabilities by increasing awareness, access, and support for assistive technology (AT). We help people acquire and utilize AT tools tailored to their needs, promoting greater independence and community inclusion.

What is Assistive Technology (AT)?

Assistive technology refers to any item, equipment, or system—whether commercially purchased, modified, or custom-made—that helps increase, maintain, or improve a person’s functional capabilities. AT also supports greater participation and inclusion in the community.

  • ASSISTIVE TECHNOLOGY FEES:

    Assistive Technology Assessment - $250
    Assistive Technology Configuration and Training - $75 / hour
    Travel fees for any service outside of The Arc Baltimore - $20 / hour
