The Arc Baltimore’s Education Series consists of seminars that are designed to gain a deeper understanding of various topics regarding individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities across the entire lifespan.

Advocacy 101 & Maryland’s General Assembly

Meet Maryland Legislators and hear from them about the upcoming General Assembly. Learn from Parent Advocates (including Laura Hatcher from Little Lobbyists) who are stepping up, each in their own way, to let lawmakers know about the real impact of funding and policies for people with developmental disabilities and their families.
Participants will:
  • Nuts and bolts strategies and techniques for being an effective advocate
  • Priorities for the upcoming legislative session
  • Details about the Developmental Disabilities Day in Annapolis that is planned for February 13th
