Education Series

The Arc Baltimore’s Education Series is a series of seminars provided each year that are designed to gain a deeper understanding of various topics regarding individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities across the entire lifespan.

Next Session:

Protect Future Funding & Disability Rights

Co-presented by: Ande Kolp (Executive Director of The Arc Maryland) and Laura Howell (Executive Director of MACS)

Don’t take anything for granted. We need your voice! You can be an advocate!

Public officials must hear from parents, caregivers and volunteers about adults and children with disabilities who depend on State-funded services. We have fought hard for many years for funding and rights, but we can easily lose all that if we are not active and vigilant.

  • Preview the upcoming Legislative Agenda for developmental disabilities programs.
  • Meet legislators and learn what they need and want to hear from you, their constituents.
  • Learn about DD Day in Annapolis and other ways you can influence legislators on key issues that affect your loved ones.
