BALTIMORE, MD (3/20/16) — Join The Arc Baltimore for a day on the links in support of the programs and services it provides to more than 6,000 individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, and their families, living in Baltimore City and County.
The Arc Baltimore’s 22nd Annual Golf Tournament will be held on Tuesday, May 17, at The Woodlands and Diamond Ridge Golf Courses (2309 Ridge Road, Windsor Mill, MD).
The tournament will feature registration beginning at 7 a.m. and an 8 a.m. shotgun start. Golfers will receive a continental breakfast and lunch, as well as 18 holes of golf that include several special holes and a number of opportunities to win individual prizes, team prizes, and door prizes.
In addition, golfers will be able to bid on a great assortment of items – including golf foursomes, sports memorabilia, Orioles tickets, and dinners – during the annual silent auction.
“The generosity of a host of corporate sponsors and the golfers themselves has helped to make The Arc Baltimore’s Annual Golf Tournament one of our most successful fund-raising events, contributing nearly $100,000 each year in support of our efforts to help individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities to thrive in the community,” says Stephen H. Morgan, Executive Director of The Arc Baltimore.
Major sponsors of The Arc Baltimore’s 22nd Annual Golf Tournament include title sponsor Scientific Plant Service and Eagle Sponsors Capital Services, Mutual of America, and Blades & Rosenfeld, PA. There are also nearly 20 Birdie Sponsors. Golf Tournament sponsorships ranging from $200 to $4,000, however, are still available.
Participation in The Arc Baltimore’s 22nd Annual Golf Tournament is $175 for individual golfers and $700 for foursomes. To register or for more information contact Lauren Seabolt at 41-296-2272, ext. 5220 or lseabolt@thearcbaltimore.org
