The Arc Baltimore will celebrate a tradition of volunteer and staff commitment when it holds its 2016 Annual Meeting and Awards Reception on Wednesday, May 4, 6:30-8:30 p.m., at the Radisson Hotel North Baltimore (formerly North Baltimore Plaza Hotel), 2004 Greenspring Drive, Timonium, MD.
“Each year, The Arc Baltimore’s Annual Meeting provides a unique opportunity to recognize members of The Arc’s family – from individuals with developmental disabilities and their family members to staff, supporters, and area businesses – whose work has been instrumental to The Arc’s continued success in serving individuals with developmental disabilities and their families,” says Stephen H. Morgan, Executive Director of The Arc Baltimore.
This year will be no exception as The Arc Baltimore presents awards for volunteer service, school inclusion, excellence in direct support, foster care excellence, and employee of the year, among others.
The Annual Meeting will also feature the election of The Arc Baltimore’s new board of directors and officers. As in past years, WMAR-TV 2 news anchor Jamie Costello will serve as emcee.
The Arc Baltimore currently supports more than 6,000 Baltimore City and Baltimore County residents with intellectual and developmental disabilities and their families.
The Arc Baltimore’s 2016 Annual Meeting and Awards Reception will begin at 6:30 p.m. with hors d’oeuvres reception and open bar, followed at 7:30 p.m. with the Annual Meeting and awards presentation.
